We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice. (Exodus 24:4a; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26a; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 28:19)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who being fully God became fully man, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was raised bodily, is exalted to God’s right hand, and will personally come again. (John 1:1-3, 14; 20:28-29; Matthew 1:18-25)
We believe that all have sinned and are guilty before God, and as a result, all, both individually and corporately, suffer the consequences of the fall and are under condemnation. (Romans 3:23; 6:23)
We believe that, because of His love, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who inaugurated His Kingdom, provided atonement for sin, conquered the principalities and powers, is reconciling the world to Himself, and will consummate His Kingdom in righteousness, power and glory. (John 3:16; Mark 1:14-15; 2 Corinthians 5:20-21; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 2:13-15; Matthew 24:29-31; Acts 1:9-11)
We believe that all those who repent and believe in Christ are delivered from the judgment of God and are born again into life eternal, and are called to be instruments of God’s righteousness and reconciliation in human society. (Luke 13:3, 5; John 5:24; John 3:15; John 17:3; Ephesians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:20)
We believe in the Holy Spirit who glorifies Jesus Christ, works in all peoples to bring them to faith and obedience, and dwells in believers, equipping and empowering them for lives of holiness and fruitful service. (John 14:15-18; John 16:7-14; Romans 1:4, 5; Ephesians 5:18-21)
We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, consists of all believers and exists to fulfill Christ’s mission, making disciples of all nations and bringing healing and justice to human society, all to the glory of God. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:46, 47; Ephesians 1:22, 23; Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 10:31)
We believe in the resurrection of the body, the everlasting punishment of unbelievers and the everlasting blessedness of believers in the presence of Christ. (John 5:28, 29; Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; John 11:25, 26; Revelation 20:5, 6; 11-15)
