The Unseen Realm study series: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
December Choir Rehearsals:
Sunday, Dec. 8 at 4:30 PM
Wednesday, Dec. 11 after church
Sunday, Dec. 15 at 4:30 PM
Wednesday, Dec. 18 after church
There will be a Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 6:00 PM.
There will be no Wednesday evening Bible Study on December 25 and January 1, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Weekly Update for Sunday, December 3, 2017
- Annual Business Meeting: thus Sunday, following a pitch-in dinner after the morning service. Lasagna will be served; salads, side dishes and desserts are welcome.
- Sarah Mission Circle Luncheon: Dec. 4, noon. Nancy Patterson will speak on the Loaves and Fishes program, which provides food for school children. See Cynthia Frederick or Linda Heaton for more information.
- Small Groups planning meetings: Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 pm and Monday, December 11 at 6:30 pm in the Alpha room. This meeting is open to the entire church family. The Christian Education Board (see Jeani McCammon) is soliciting feedback on what small group meeting times would work best for everyone who’s interested, and is looking for people who would be willing to host and/or lead a group.
- “Journey to Bethlehem”: Dec. 8, meet at ROC at 5:00 pm for pizza, leaving at 5:45. This event is free and is outside, so dress accordingly.
- If you’re interested in helping as a greeter or nursery worker in 2018, please sign up on the sheets at the Welcome Center.

Weekly Update for Sunday, November 27, 2016
- Question & Answer Session: this Sunday at 6:00 PM.
- “O Come Let Us Adore Him” Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 PM.
- Annual Business Meeting: Sunday, Dec. 4. After the Morning Worship Service we will have lunch in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting.
- Sarah Mission Circle Meeting: Monday, Dec. 5 at 1:00 PM in the Library.
- The Jr. & Sr. High school class trip: “Journey through Bethlehem” at New Hope Christian Church in Washington, IN. on Dec. 9. We will meet at the ROC at 5:45 PM and leave at 6:00 PM. Parents are welcome to come along if they’d like. Dress warm, as we’ll be outside for about an hour. Eat a snack before, because we won’t stop for supper until on the way home. It may be 10:00 PM before we get back. For more information or to let us know you are going, see Jeani McCammon or Kim Collins.
- Memorial Poinsettias: Suggested colors are red flowers with red or green foil and/or ribbon. They may be brought to the church from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM the week of Dec. 12-16.
